How many miles after pistons and rods?

HI all i guess this would be the best place to post this as most of the FI tuners are likely to know this.

After installing 8.2:1 Diamond Pistons and Crower Connecting Rods how many miles should you do run them in and before you go back for a proper tune?

Technically i guess you could call it a rebuild?

i see people going 1000-2000miles but i feel that is a bit much...

any recommendations?

Do you mean first oil change? If so it's at 500 miles after the rebuild, then after that normal (3000 miles). But I did mine every 1000 for the first 2500 miles just for the added security. Then at 3000 after that. If this isn't what you mean, then what do you mean to ask?

1500 miles on mineral oil then filter and oil change and use mobil 1 motorsport (15w50) after that change your oil every 4-6k depending on if you can afford to.
