nitrous purge question

i am getting nitrous here pretty soon and i want to get a purge kit, mainly for show and they're just pretty cool to have. and i was wondering if i use a WOT switch for the nitrous, how do i purge it. just redline my car in neutral or something or with the clutch in. although i would like to have my nitrous activated by a switch on the dash somewhere. i really need help here guys and input would be a huge help. thanks in advance.

The purge is operated by a seperate solenoid that will have a seperate push button switch.

okay great thats what i wanted to know. i thought you had to actually engage your nitrous system in order to get it to purge. that cleared a lot up for me.

You have to have the bottle open obviousley as well...and you can purge it even without using the nitrous at all in a run..you could ride around and purge away the whole bottle if you wanted.

I had my zex wet kit on my friends 350z, and the purge solenoid went in the nitrous line before the injection solenoid. And everyone is right about having the bottle open, and the system on just make sure that the system isn't armed if you run wot switch, and rev up and hit the rev limiter.

I meant to do this when it was first posted... Anyway, here's a pic of the nitrous setup on my Stang for info purposes

The blue arrows are nitrous flow
The light purple arrow is the nitrous solenoid
The lime green arrow is the line for the nitrous gauge
The pinkish arrow to the right of the green arrow is the fuel solenoid
The red arrow is the purge solenoid. If you look right at the arrow you see the small copper line that runs the purge out of the engine bay.

Hope this visual helps explain it a little better.
