So yes it's working correctly. As for the wanting to stall I would adjust the valve little by little, maybe half a turn at a time. Rev the engine. Do that till it stops.

No problem. I ran a turbosmart dual port on my 05 ZX4. It wasn't the fswerks kit.

Now I'm wishing I'd gotten the bailey. Heard they were a bit louder as well. Think I'll just stick with the turbosmart for a while seeing how I just got it.

If you wanted louder you should have got the dual port. However since you have a MAF you should stay with a non bov type valve.

Ok, so id hate to bring up this old thread again but I cant seem to find any info anywhere on whether or not the "kompact plumb back" valve is adjustable. Not even on turbosmart's site. Im trying to get rid of the flutter issue which is long past just an annoyance. Letting off the throttle in low boost drops the rpm's below my idle range of 1000, studders a bit, then recovers. With other valves like the dual port, turbosmart says to adjust the spring pressure with the knob on top. The plumb back however has no such knob. Is it still adjustable? I have a hard time believeing the flutter and studder is normal.

The BOV has nothing to do with the engine dropping RPM below what it has always been set to for its target idle
You need to contact your tuner for that issue

My car would studder and have idle issues with the Turbosmart. The flutter got annoying to me also. Honestly, Youtube some vids of the valve and you will hear the same noise on EVOs, etc. The noise made me nervous also. I'd get a DV20 or DV30 and call it a day.

The turbosmart adjustment on the valves labeled softer to harder is for fixing idle issues. Most people belive that it will make the bov louder which is not true.
