Automatics and Turbos

How many people with automatics have turbos. Is there a good kit for the automatic?

going by what people have been saying the Autos cant handle that much power i think your question shouldn't be what kit is good for the autos but where can i get an auto box that can handle the power.

Over in the UK we have a company called Gearboxman, he builds stock transmissions to cope with loads more power, I'm pretty sure there's bound to be loads of companies in the USA that do the same thing...

It may be cheaper putting a manual in.

That kind of sucks. Punished for a auto tranny. By some chance would you have an idea what a manual tranny swap costs?

yes, we are punished for the ATX surcharge....If you are going for a low boost application 4-5 psi and maybe 160 whp, I'd trhow a tranny cooler, a lentech large capacity pan, and Fr valve body, and a temp guage in to the mix. You will see some life. But it won't be forever....

Does the B&M shift kit work on these transes, I wouldn't see why not, its just a manual control for EPC pressure.
