turbo install

Hello everyone my names dave im new to this site and need a little help.

I have an 01 focus 2.0 zetec i have done the svt header swap, cam gears, flex pipe delete, 2.5in exhaust and short ram intake.
Im looking into adding a turbo shortly and am not sure what should be done for fuel mapping im only looking to run 8-10 psi and was wondering if sct livewire would be enough to get the job done.
This is not my first turbo install but this is my first focus.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

I moved your thread to the Force Induction chat area so you can some better answers to your question which is yes the SCT live wire can do that but you would need the supporting mods to your fuel systems like a Boost a pump and such. Someone with more knowledge can clarify it better than I can. You may want to check out the sticky threads at the top of the forum area as those have a lot of info that your wondering about.

The livewire by itself wouldnt be enough to properly tune your car , you would need custom tuning to load with the livewire

The livewire is just a tool/flasher to load a tune , datalog , check and clear a check engine light

I feel the livewire is over kill unless you wanting th toys it offers the xcal3 very soon changing to the xcal4 will do just as good of a job for less money
