Average time to dyno tune?

I gotta get this car dyno tuned REALLY SOON! I threw the turbo on it and now my daily ride is dying. Im planning on buying the SCT tuner from turbo tom, but Im saving for that. For now I need to know the average time of a turbo from n/a tune. My turbo setup is basically just like everyones, heres the list.

Garrett t3 turbo .42 ar/ .48
JGS log manifold.
Turbonetics Deltagate 38mm
2.5 downpipe w/o exhaust system
Ford racing #42 injectors
90mm Ford racing Maf
Ford racing IAT
K&n Filter
2 1/4 intercooler pipes
Saab 900s intercooler
Autolite resistors

The car runs and I have driven it on 4psi, and it runs pig rich (1volt on o2) and its pulling -35%fuel. Now heres other my problem, The local dyno places here in albuquerque like to screw a lot of people with dyno tuning, so I would like to get a estimate from those of you that have had it done.

If you are driving it with NO tuning at all you are lucky you have not killed the engine already, you are adding more timing than the factory setting are with the recal mass air

You need to park the car till you can get it tuned safely , I wouldnt spend the money on tuning till you get the SCT Pro , if you do all the tuning will have to be done again

Yeah, and dyno tuning at most shops will cost not much less then the SCT package from Tom will. I would guestimate anywhare from $300-$600. Just go ahead and buy the SCT and be done with it. Otherwise you will have wasted money. But this is just what I would do.

Best of luck, Scott

because if you ever need it tuned again you gotta dish out the money again, where as with the SCT tuner from tom you can do it yourself as many times as you can do

Even with the SCT Pro Racer you realy need the dyno time and the wideband02 to complete your tune

You can get it close and deal with the drivrability issues but for the best running WOT car you need the dyno
