they need something for the Duratec...I feel so naked without some sort of forced induction...it's a shame to let the 2.3 go to waste without a plethora of aftermarket accessories

Stick with the Vortech , all that piping laying on the engine geting heat soaked and sucking all the hot air from right off the engine is insane

The Vortech has the hose pulling cool air and you have the ability tointercool it later , The FS Vortech didnt make any more power than the STD ZX3 Vortech did and it shouldnt its the same blower unit

Actually, we don't use the same blower.

And the ducting is plastic, so heat soak isnt' as much of an issue as you'd think. I have a remote temp sensor on the test car , aside from our IAT after the blower, and temps while cruising are mid 70's to 80's during the day. We have more ducting that leads up to the filter. It's on the car in the pic, but you can't see it. If you sit in traffic of course it will heat up, but then you aren't exactly racing while stopped in traffic, now are you? And on that subject, it doesn't really matter what you have on your car, you sit for long enough and the engine gets hot.

As far as I've seen we are making more HP on 91 octane than the Vortech kit. TQ is about the same.

Tom you shouldn't post about what you don't know. You're no expert on our kit and funny enough, I am. It's this spreading of misinformation that keeps a lot of people, including myself, from posting here on a regular basis.

Whoa there man, leave the forum out of this. We all know that you guys have some issues...but don't even try to bring the forum into this.
