Some autotragics i hear dont really take power adders that good up and over 170hp or so but with the right setup and safty precautions with the right tune you should be absolutely fine with a 35shot, i myself am running a 75wet shot with a steeda highflow fuel rail intake and exhaust.

No worries about your "ignorance". I'm really ignorant about a lot of stuff that gets talked about here. I've learned so much in such a short time just from reading posts, yet there's still things I'm certainly going to have to ask many questions about when I start mod'ing my own car.

So no sweat. But, I suppose it depends on what your current tranny set up is, and how much power to the wheels you'll be putting down with nos. Certainly, when beefing up the power outage, one of the first things to get beefed up along with your engine is your tranny. But, if the power your adding is only marginal, it shouldn't hoit your (stock?) set up...

The 35 or 50 shot is quite safe. So is the 75 as above with a few fuel mods.. I just do not know much about the auto tranny for these cars except the fact that they are not all that tough.. Check out Lentech tranny's and ask them, they should know and can set you up with anything you could buy that would help.
