Everything Needed For Turbo...

Ok, noobs the name and noobs the game. I know the jist of turbos, i have a t3 garret turbo, a downpipe, intercooler, and a custom manifold. My question is, what else do i need? What else do i need to know? like does the piping from the turbo to intercooler diameter matter? I was told i need to remove or buy a small fan for the turbo to fit, has anyone else had this problem or was the guy talking out his ass? cupplings? what exactly are these? where do you get them? just anything else that i need or need to know would be awesome, thanks

Don't feel stupid, look stupid!

Manifold, turbo, downpipe, intercooler, Wastegate, BOV or bypass valve, piping, injectors, Maf, tune, couplings, oil lines

I dont think i forgot anything, but im sure someone else will chime in . The couplings are the rubber sleeves that hold the pipes together. ATPturbo.com carries them, along with many other turbo websites. Tom or another turbo guy will pop in here soon to let you know what im missing :) lol.

would it be smart to do some of the internals as well. like cams and cam gears, push rods, rockers etc. to prevent engine failing. before i put my money down hopefully in the spring i just want to make sure i dont' blow my engine.

Zetec DOHC = No push rods and no rockers....

Although some ARP products are always a good idea. Studs are your friend.
