Apexi Turbo Controllers

Does anyone in here have the Apexi Unit installed on their turbo? Tom, if you happen to run by this thread, have you set-up one of these before? The local tuning shop I have available has only done one and they said they never did get it just right and that the Apexi is still quite experimental over here in the States. Is there a better way to control turbo boost from inside the car? You know, for better performance gains.

I agree with Tom, I've already ordered one, they look so less complicated and more "basic" and usable.

Thanks guys, I'll check it out right now and post the website link that gives the best info.

Ok, here is the best price I've found.

Still looking for a good article on it though. I can tell you this though, I won't be getting it with the blue case......looks like a damn christmas tree ornament.

If you goto Greddy Website ...... they are promoting the Type-S.

I'm running the AVC R on my turbo setup and it is as sweet as a nut. It holds the boost very well, has loads of great features and looks smart as anything inside the car. I wouldn't have a clue on the fitting a si had mine done by a company called Power Engineering (www.powerengineering.co.uk) in the UK. The guy that fitted it for me has installed quite a few without any problems at all, he actually recommended it to me over the Blitz one i was looking at.

Well now I've had a chance to set my eyes on the E-01. I like it much better. It not only works as a boost controller....but a data logger as well with programmable options to optimize the boost through-out the entire RPM range. That sounds super wicked. Tom, you think I'm getting in over my head with this? It sure does sound like it would make things alot simpler for when I get the car away from you, I could log the data and you would be able to tell me what to do over the internet. I like it mostly because unlike the LM-1, I can send you data of actual driving conditions.
