Xious Install

Has anyone tried clocking the cold side housing so the outlet isn't so close to the exhaust?

Because the piping wont fit any more , I asked Xious this many times over the years but they didnt have anyone to make the changes so left it that way

That pipe gets SUPER heated and under hard runs because of the intercoolers size you can see the IAT temps go up quick

You would have to make new piping from turbo to IC , not big deal if you can weld

like he said, header wrapping the crap out of everything is about all you can do without custom making new piping. that would help quite a bit. wrap the turbo manifold AND the intake piping that is right there at the hot stuff

I could make a new pipe pretty easily, if you wanted to take a trip to pa one weekend...
