Precision 6262 on zetec
I have the oppurtinity to purchase a precision 6262. Ball bearing billet wheel. I can get it for next to nothing. My research tells me a focus will have trouble spooling this turbo. Appears to be designed for 680hp. Right now I have a eBay turbo and if is awful. So has anyone tried this turbo? As for my goals I'm just goofing off with the car right now. Just curious to see how leggy this thing would be.

how could you make boost to begin around 3500 rpm?

What do you mean?

Evo guys are claiming to see boost at 5k. Maybe the focus would spook it a bit sooner but that's still very laggy.

is there anything you could do to the piping or engine mods to help you see 10 psi at a lower rpm?

nitrous will get it rolling lol. i would rock it as long as your going for big power. i see no reason to use it for low boost though

Agreed lol. I'm only going for 300whp max. Luckily this isn't my dd so I can afford to test a bit. Going to try a cxracing turbo I do believe. At worst u spend 250 and its junk but then we will know. Can't find a lot of testing.

ive got one of those cxracing turbos i use for moch up. its a gt3582r copy. i would never run it on a car. the shaft is so small and loose that is bound to come off or at least dig into the housing after a little abuse lol.
