may have found my problem....
could this be the reason my car won rev when the maf is plugged in but with it unplugged will lope at idle but at least run ?.....[facepalm]

thats with the timing pin and bar in ...
and is there two timing idlers+ the tensioner
...........i only have one !!!!
i just looked at the autozone kit online and saw two idle pulleys not one thats the only reason i ask

watch the video the timing belt is wacky and same with the tensioner

my belt was loose like that then when we first started the motor up it had put more tension on the belt

its been like that since the head was checked 3000 miles ago the problem started shortly after reassembly

Very normal , your belt has slack in it and at times when you shut the engine off if one cam is at the top of the lobe on the spring then it turns slightly and you get slack in the belt , or the engine kicks back a little shitting it off and you get slack perfectly normal

I wouldnt start spending bunch of money on things that are not bad , you know what needs to be done next
