junk yard turbo on zetec focus

Im sure someone out there has done it, anyone from here try it? I did a search but couldnt find anything so im asking now... From being around Mustangs as long as I have, many guys have done this putting twin t3's off turbo coupes, or singles off powerstroke diesels... So im wondering if there is any way of doing one on the Focus??... Could be pissing in the wind, but no harm in seeing what others have been doing!!

I can be done. You would definitely have to ensure the integrity of the turbo itself, and having everything custom fabricated will be expensive. Other than that, the tuning will be an issue.

Yeah, I understand you would need to make sure the turbo is in working order, and its not difficult to get a rebuild kit and do one up for it. Doing custom fabrication isnt that difficult either as long as you can weld and get your hands on some piping etc.... My buddy runs a custom exhaust shop so getting piping bent would be easy and cheap. Ive saw people twin turbo 5.0 Mustangs for $1500, so I cant see this being too bad... It might not look as pretty as a kit, but I for one could care less.. And tuning would not be an issue, I know a guy in the GTA that has a dyno where I can get it tuned!!

Also I wont be doing this anytime soon since I have like $10 to my name, I was really just wondering if anyone here had done this!

put a BUS TURBO on there.... yeeeeee haaaawwwwwww! get the spi metal instake and push about 30 psi into the engine. you'd have to run jet blue but it would be freakin worth it.

so if it all came out to 3500 including tuning and goodies, what kind of power are you producing? i mean you did save quite a bit of cash too which is always a bonus!
