so my car will not run with my maf ,itll idle but thats it,and my egts drop wayy quicker with it unplugged and it doesnt knock as much ,either,its a pro m maf and they dont mal em anymore what are my options, its not even throwin a cel ?!
so im damn sure that my coil pack grounded out on my maf housing ,now ,since there are no way for it to ground out through the piping to frame ,im sure it went back thru the maf wiring , can any one give me the process and pinout for the ecu to test and make sure my ecu isnt fried ,the car will drive with the maf unplugged but i can give it very little gas before it starts to bog ,im not driving it any more ,with me moving and this being my dd i am just gonna have to put another "band aid "maf on it pro -m is still in business ,i just wanna test the pcm before i buy another maf and fry that one
i have been talking to a guy near by and i was planning on going up there to him about two hours away ,but now i really dont wanna drive it that far ,with it running the way it is , but maybe i can persuade him to come down here sometime soon ...
Hey Tom, whatever happened to the X Cal loaner program you started ??
If I still had one , I would mail it to you to borrow for diagnostics only .But I sold everything.
