Never mind I found the kit. I plan on having a hole kit done and on the road cheaper than just the pipin and manifold. Unless I'm missing something lol

Dude its more than you think. Wideband, gauges, oil feed and return lines, not to mention a clutch if yours slips and a new exhaust. You should also look into mounts and a GOOD set of tires. I thought I had mine set at around a grand...several hundred later and I still find myself NEEDING more parts lol. They have full zetec kits on eBay. I'd be interested to see how well a full ebay kit holds up.

I already built a kit once. I was the first to use cfms DIY spa kit. I put down 240 on Tim's dyno. The lines are cheap and the gauge isn't to bad. The clutch in my car needs replaced so its a non issue. There's a lot of things people think they need that they do not. Once I start which will be a while i will post everything. It can be done much cheaper than people realize. I had less than 2k in my old kit and that includes the clutch and paying for it to be put in.

lucky you, hence i rebuilt all the internals in my build but my total expenses with tune was $5685

I budget built the heck outta my kit. I used the factory manifold with an adapter built to mount the turbo. The turbo is a 16g from an Evo Vlll that i got with low miles for $150. Cheap intercooler from a guy here BNIB for $100. My friend at my local muffler shop charged me $700 for a 3inch manderal exhaust, downpipe, turbo adapter to manifold, intercooler pipes and mounting the intercooler and turbo drain tube and tapping the oil pan. maFIA and injectors from CFM for like $400 IIRC and and $500 for toms tune. Thats right around $1850 for the whole setup on 11psi.

threads like this is how we find out what can be done to our cars & show people they can build anything with little means.. Build away & post as much as you can. I am looking at parts & ideals myself. A friend has built dozens for people. Even has a online tuner company buying his headers to resale as theirs.

Only problem I have now is time. Currently I have a project I need to do first, 87 gt needs redone but I found a good deal on most of the parts I need. After it is finished I will start on the focus. Probably in a couple months
