A few ?'s for Tom's STG1 kit

Alright, so i'm lookin at ssavin up some money and in the spring getting Tom's STG1 kit for my SVT. I know i'll have to get the STG1 kit and the MIC kit, and i plan on getting a spec stage 3 clutch with lightweight option, but what else should i get? And also, can i still use my FC 65 mm throttle body, FC UDP, and AEM CAI? Also, i was wondering if i should get an intercooler on top of it and how much of a gain would i get by adding an intercooler. Also, how much for one? Thanks guys and girls!

One more thing-do i need a boost gauge?

-dont htink a cai would be necessary
-if you gonna get a intercooler, just go with the full kit
-boost gauge is a definite plus if u decide to go turbo, good to know what ur car is pushing

Well i'm saying that i already have the cai and was wondering if i could still use it without degrading performance of the turbo cause i know theres certain parts that you cannot use witha turbo and wasn't sure which ones they were. Also, i'm wanting an intercooler to be safe with the car, i know you don't need one for that low boost but better safe than sorry i think.

A CAI cannot be used with a turbo setup. The Turbo kit will come with its own intake/headers. An intercooler can be used, but i think that all zetec blocks use the water to air intercooler instead of the air to air (saves space, keeps tubing as short as possible, and doesnt succumb as easily to heat soak). I dont think that the stage one comes with the intercooler, but im sure he can add it.

Intercooler new is like 1100 bucks. You might find a used one that will work, and you'll need to get the piping for it. As was said, if you want the intercooler, may as well get the full kit.

If you buy the stg. 1 kit and decide to get a used/custom intercooler to save money, you will need new piping. So then you'll be wasting part of the stg. 1 price on piping you won't use. If you want to really save money, make the kit yourself. If you don't want to hassle, save the money and buy the full kit. Those are your two only worthwhile options.
