Random turbo parts questions...

Ok, I know about the normal turbo stuff, i.e., turbo, IC, piping, MAF, injectors, tuning. What about stuff like boost controllers, turbo timers, and all that other turbo electronic stuff? Does anyone have any experience with those, and other, things that can be used with a turbo set-up? What things should I think about getting? How exactly does a turbo timer work; does it just keep the engine running for a bit after you shut off the car? Also, how does scramble boost work? Thanks for the help, I'm just trying to get all my turbo stuff straight before I start buying things.

A Turbo timer is set by you and can be set all the way up to i believe 5 minutes which is overkill. But yes it is wired into the ignition system and when you shut off or take the key out it keeps the engine running for that set time. 30sec-1min is plenty. It saves you time if your in a hurry. Do you really want to come home at midnight and sit in your car for another minute in your driveway. ITs just a convenience thing.

turbo cool down to save the life of the turbo, over time of just shutting the car off after a beating the oil ways in the turbo could clog up

hence what i talked about with water cooled the other day.

boost controller explains itself. i know u may not want to hear this. but run a search. i have explained this:)
