Which IAT's can I use for a turbo build?

I am searching around for a air temp sensor to use in my draw through diy turbo kit. I have read you can use one off a 99 mustang. What other car's temp sensors can I use? Can I use a sables? Anyone have a wireing diagram so I can wire that temp sensor in?

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

It will be easier for me to tune. I would rather have blow through.

I saw a good deal on a mustang sensor. F57F-12A697AA. I wonder if this will work.

Hey thanks itbparada, I will look for that sensor too.

Bought a F6SZ-12A697-A. I guess it is a threaded brass IAT that will will not blow out under boost. I guess the JRSC guys use it.

Anyone want to confirm that I use the two outer wires running to my MAF to wire this IAT in?

The f150 iat is brass... it happened to fit the threads on the bottom of the jrsc manifold so no need to tap. Worked great! I used the instructions on the pwsc kit to wire it up

I got a F150 Lightning one also, but older Zetecs used them also. Found a few at the junkyard in Escorts and Contours.

What threads? Yours must have already been tapped.
