Help me find a turbo...please!

Hey guys, I'm having trouble finding a turbo. I'm building a kit for a friend and he has decided to go with an ebay turbo. The downpipe I made for him is 3". I can't find a fricken exhaust outlet turbo that is 3" on ebay. Anyone with amazing search skills.

It is a 3", 4 bolt downpipe. Inlet size does not matter. I'd like to keep it around $300. Anyone know of any good ones?

Thanks!

I've got a few friends that have been running ebay turbo's for 2-3 years. I've personally got a Garrett but I'm just looking for an ebay one for right now. I just can't find one with a 3" 4 bolt outlet.

Well the bigger you go on the downpipe/turbine discharge the more lag your gonna see. You'll be okay using a turbo with a turbine outlet dia. of 2.25-2.5 if you can't find a 3" with a decently matching compressor housing. I've put 7k miles on my xs-power t3/t04E so far and it still spools like a champ. Most if not all of them are thrust bearings tho, thats the one drawback.

Did you use a 2.5" 4 bolt flange or 3.0" 4 bolt flange? Because you can use either to make a 3" downpipe and depending on which one you used will greatly change what turbo options you have.

Not to threadjack but how would i go about making a 3"dp for my garrett? its a t3/to4e .57 trim but it has a 4 bolt to v band discharge, im not sure how to measure the v band though. is it I.D or O.D? the adapter is slightly bigger than the turbo discharge.
