Would these turbos / wastegate be of any use to me?



Ive had these laying around since I sold my DSM (that ran mid 12's in the 1/4 @ 22psi). They are DSM-EVOIII Turbos Both T3's w/ .48 on exhaust and .42 on comp (identical except for finish)... Wastegate is a 38mm XS Power

These seem quite small for a turbo fSVT project compared to other setups on this board... whats strange though is how damn fast my DSM ran on this same turbo. Input?

Maybe twin-T setup?

Just sell them, get something bigger?

dont do a twin set up on your svtf. it'll be stupid.

you should be able to run one those without much of a problem.

yeah i figured the twin setup was far fetched.. I loved 17-20psi by 3000rpm on my DSM with this turbo... and it pulled all the way to 7000rpm peaking at 22psi. This wastegate seems really big though compared to the one I used back then.

the EVOIII size is just fine for an SVT

of course that depends who you talk to. I happen to think a 2560 is just fine. But most on here are the go big or go home type, and nothing smaller than a 3071 will suffice.

The wastegate has a 4-bolt discharge which is an oddball. Pretty much all the wastegates that everyone on here runs are either 2-bolt or v-band. I would sell it and get a regular 2-bolt Tial. As for the turbos, what discharge flange do they have?

Turbo Discharge Flange... appear to be standard 4 bolt flange-
