Tom

ok so the 0133 and 1131 are for the same thing?
i have a vac leak or a bad 02

and as for the 1381 vct code , how do i get it back right
what do i have to line up or go off to know its ok

the car drives fine
but dont like to idel sometime it will be smooth sometimes
will go to like 2k and some times it will be under 1k and almost want to die
now is this from one of the things or a mix of the timming being off
and a vac leak, or would the 02 being bad do someting like this

is she safe to drive with the timming being off?

thanks

To reset the VCT do you have to pull the timing belt off and reset the timing?

As bad as I hate to say it yes , You have to loosen the belt enough to move the VCT gear , In most cases 1 tooth and the ECU can do the rest
