the tensioner feels really really really good, i replaced it. the belt doesn't appear to be slipping. i did hear a noise within the unit though when i revved it through the throttle body. i'm wondering if the blower is taking a dump on me! :(

I have heard that one way to check for boost leaks is to take an inner-tube and cut it so you can fit it over the TB ... clamp it down tight and pump it up with a bike pump, then go around and spray some soapy water and look for bubbles.

that happened to me. they call that rotor to case rub. when the fins are rubbing on the inner caseing of the charger. i sent mine out to get fixed. and they also found out that my pulley wasnt spinning true. which it was off balance and spinning crooked cost a few hundred dollars. steigmeir did it or how ever you spell their name look it up on google its worth it
