For any of you running a JRSC

I need the exact distance from the top of the supercharger to the hood when installed. I should of measured for the last one i took off, i forgot too. I need both zetec and SVT distances! cant say what for, but something will be going on top of them! :p but i need exact distances! please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated!

Ok so it looks like you have a hair over 6" before hitting the hood. That is assuming the frame on my VIS is the same as stock.

it should be, but a stock hood would be best, do you have it? it takes about 10 minutes for a swap. everyone i know has an aftermarket hood, so i need to know for a stock one!

My stock one got smashed in (which is why I bought the cf one) so it wont do any good.

Get some kid's Silly Putty and place a few lumps of it in areas where you want to check. Close your hood, open it back up, and stick a wire or something into the putty, mark it's thickness with your thumb, and measure it. Did this at Ford all the time. It beat having to cut a section thru the hood (on the CAD system).

i know exactly what you are doing and you are crazy lol. why not send me one of your JRSC and ill do the measurements for you! expect payment in 2-3 weeks or possibly sooner on one of your JRSC. and im still curious about that SBC stuff you have specifically the dart heads, what condition they are in and how much you want for them. good luck with your project!
