who has the most powerful JRSC build?

just curious. ive been thinking about the jackson racing superchargers for quite some time but never really did any research into it. who has done the most powerful JRSC build in a zetec, how much power did it make and how did they do it. piggybacking nitrous doesnt count lol. im thinking about doing this for a daily driver build. its cheaper lol

i think the highest on an SVT was 240 whp and its in the dyno section. for the zetec, i think it was 220 whp and 199 wtq by someone on fj, he ended up grenading the motor, and ran WMI and everything, but ya, you can get them up there, but you lose DDability.

I am still working on mine. Have a custom 6.5" crank pulley installed. I now hit 9 psi at 3100 rpms. Although I am waiting on Tom for an update to maximize it. Also have a DIY water/alcohol injection I am going to run, but I am going to tune without it to be safe. I need that because after about 11 psi, it gets so hot that it takes away hp. After its all done I'll dyno it and get some numbers.

yeah an intercooler could have been really nice on those. so your standard bbk on a good DD setup to run safely would be looking at around 185-200whp maybe?

what are some good supporting cams for a JRSC? do they suffer the same problems with high lift cams as turbos? blowback or whatever the hell its called?

If you get some mild cams and have them tuned in with no overlap, then they would work. Although Tom always says to just use stock cams on any FI application. I will be running a ZX2 intake cam (stage 1ish) and stock exhaust.

i just cannot seem to wrap my head around the fact that there is no more power/efficiency to be had from cams in a FI build.
