Had an idea. DIY w/m injection.

Ok so I know these kits use a sensor that tells the sprayer to open when a certain amount of boost is made. (This is usually user defined) This seems to be the most expensive part of the kit. So I was wondering since I have this paperweight known as the "black box" that came with my JRSC sitting here and it works the same way. It tells the injectors to open based off the boost pressure. Can it be used for a DIY water/meth injection? Instead of telling the injectors to open, it would tell the w/m injector to open. I don't know all the mechanics on how the black box works and i am not an electrician, so I would like to have your input. Thanks.

Comments, ideas, suggestions?

Black box sucks trash it LOL , All thats really needed is a simple , easy , cheap throttle switch 9 to 13.00 off the net , place this like a nitrous switch so it will come on under wot and hooked to a relay and you good to go

Cheap , easy , simple

Now I ask why you think you need WM

A functioning DIY setup might be an extra safety barrier but I wouldn't try to push much extra boost unless I had supreme confidence in it. MotoIQ did an enlightening story http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_artic...valuation.aspxabout an AEM kit a while ago, but their idea of affordable is pretty warped. So if you can build a turbo engine capable of lots of boost it might be helpful. Otherwise I don't know what benefit there would be.

He's running a JRSC which is a non-intercooled SC that generates a TON of heat, especialy with the BBK (which it seems he is looking for). W/M injection is very helpful with this kit.

It looks like Tom had a pretty good idea with the RPM switch, I would look into that.
