I'll be finishing the nitrous install tomorrow

A buddy and I will be finishing up the installation of my NX nitrous system tomorrow and I just want to post here so anyone can give us some tips or tricks before we test it out. Hopefully we don't miss anything, so anyone who has used/installed nitrous before, please chime in.

So far this is what I have:
  • Used NX wet kit
  • 10 lb nitrous bottle
  • 50 shot NX jets
  • CFM fuel rail adapter
  • Fuel pressure safety switch
  • Electronic WOT switch
  • RPM window switch
  • Arming switch
  • Remote bottle opener
  • Remote/automatic bottle heater
  • Nitrous pressure gauge
  • 1 step colder plugs
  • and I'll be filling up with 93 octane tomorrow
So is there anything I'm missing? Anyone have any tips or suggestions before we test it? No, I don't have a wideband and no I don't have a tune. Yes, that might be more risky than some members here are willing to go, but I don't have $850 to spend on top of this kit for those two things. Hopefully I won't get too much hate for no tune/wideband but I'm taking the risk.

Here are my questions:
Is there anything I'm missing?
What should I set the RPM's to on the window switch? 3000-6500?
Can I go upto a 75 shot, untuned?
Anything else I should look out for?

I will post up pics and results after!

Do you have the 1000.00 - 1200.00 to replace the engine ?

Please take off the kit until it can be done right.
I'm not at all trying to be a jerk or smart about it.
This path is going to blow your engine, no doubt about it.

Leave the kit on but don't spray until you get the tune/wideband. 850 is better than replacing your engine.

No hate here... Ive sprayed 90 shot countless times with no tune. a big gamble but my only prob was a backfire that blew off the intake manifold and ruined the spark plugs. That and someone broke into my car and stole everything. guess that was my bad luck! lol

I hate it when people cut corners... I know you want to use it really badly but if you truly want to keep your car around long enough to enjoy what you have put into it. Do it right man.
