solenoid placement for EBC..where?

Alright fella's... I just want some input here. On my svt I had placed my old solenoid for my greddy EBC on the side of my battery box closest to the engine.

After that EBC crapping out on me I'm double checking and making sure I'm doing everything I can to make sure this new one last's me ALOT longer.

So where does everyone usually mount theirs? Instructions say (for new EBC) to moungt at least 10inches away anything over 200 something degrees. where is a good spot? pictures?

any thoughts would be helpful!
thanks

Batt box is plenty far , keep the hose to the turbo from the solenoid as short as you can

You mean from the WG? cause I don't have a hose coming off the turbo (your kit). My vac source is from my manifold - goes to solenoid - then to bottom port on WG. which leads me to another question. Should I leave the top port on my WG vented?

I had it hooked up on the previous EBC, then the last time we talked you said that you usally leave your top port un-hooked. no?

thanks.

Pitchblack. My instructions show nothing to go to my top port on my WG. So I'm to assume what? vent it? plug it?

Tom has mentioned about leaving it vented... I just want to make sure.

There are 2 ways , one with external and one with internal , I use the connections for internal waste gate , Use the bottom fitting and leave top open , On external they say use both , but I like just one hose

One of those to each there own thing

On my old setup I used both lol bottom went to solenoid, top went to manifold vaccum. Seems theres no REAL right way... I'll just use w/e works best lol

AND sense this got a little off topic lol I'll remount the solenoid on the battery box.
still looking for new ideas tho.
