its been done on 2.0 and 2.3 engines. there are 2 turbo automatic duratecs that i know of.
a 2.0 will make anywhere from 200-220 hp and a 2.3 will make 230+ with the same setup. just depends who you go to.

Yeah is been done before. The auto transmission is the weak link in the setup though but it can get you to 200+ hp.

Use the search button to look for similar threads, there is a ton of info about this topic on this site.

tuning does not make the transmission stronger, he would strip the teeth off clean in 3rd gear almost instant.

all the tune does (in terms of transmission) is boost the line pressure for quicker shifts. It will save the clutches some wear but other than that its still the same stock auto.

Lentech transmissions can easilly help out with the autos

Actually the tune done properly DOES make the ATX stronger , much stronger

By raising the trans psi you firms up the shift and also holds the clutches tighter and quicker with less slippage much like MTX-75 and changing the clutch to a stronger psi plate to keep the clutch from slipping and burning up

And many more things that I do with the tune to firm up , change shift points , time it takes to shift and much more

Tom
