Coat,Wrap, or leave it raw??

I got some goodies in the mail on friday.

The manifold looks awesome. I dont know if i want to coat it,wrap it, or leave it raw stainless. The downpipe will be coated and wraped.

Cecile And prolly not this year. Car wont be done for a little while. I still need to order a new clutch/flywheel, driver side motor mount, FRIM, 3in Maf tube, then when its all together i need to have the intercooler pipes welded, i need to finish the downpipe and dump tube then get it all tuned (by TOM). On top of all that iv pretty much exhausted my bank accounts. So untill i sell my SVTf the Focus will be napping in the Garage...

I'd ask Top Speed how the extra heat from wrapping affects the welds. Maybe retaining another 3-400* really hurts longevity. Dunno, so I'd ask them once.

from what i've heard on wrapping it doesn't actually retain a lot of heat in the metal itself. with the wrapping it makes the exhaust gases flow better so the heat is expelled quicker.
