What type of forced induction?

I'm looking at keeping my block stock but going forced should I get a turbo, a centrifugal, or roots type? It is my dd and I'm not looking for more than 200 whp. If you could post opinions and web sites for kits.

How much are looking to spend? I'm running a JRSC (roots supercharger) which I was able to get second-hand for around $1200. Add the tune and it put me right around 2k. It runs somewhere in the 175-180 HP range. While it doesn't get close to the performance you'd see in a turbo, it has been a blast. No second thoughts.

Turbo is best bang for your buck, every single time. If you can get your hands on a JRSC, it is the cheapest...but I'd say the least fun.

What's your budget?

If 2K is your budget I'd say go for a JSRC, or maybe different one. I don't know what Prochargers go for used but you might be able to find one cheap.

If you want to do a Turbo build look to spend closer to $4k.

You need an LSD even with bolt-ons if you ask me. I'm still all-motor and I remember when I didn't used to have an LSD. Tons of fail. LSDs are great for any application.
