Well I hope you are not looking at a used aerocharger kit or anything. The turbos are funky and when they go bad you are stuck without a direct replacement.

The idea of it was great. Turbo that lets you keep the emissions stuff.

But lets face it. How many people have had their stock cats fail and fall apart??? And if you put a turbo after the cat then you will be risking killing the turbo.

Complete garbage. Some poeple were able to get some decent numbers out of them but they are terribley thought out. My advise would be to avoid them at all costs.

Not in my opinion. They run pretty crappy and their idea of tuning is adding a 5th injector and that's it. I can't stop you bit I really wouldn't do it if I were you.

Ask Tom (turbo Tom that is) about them.

1. The parts were proven to be of poor quality.
2. There isn't any tuning other than the 5th injector.
3. The Turbos are known to go out pretty quickly.
4. The company doesn't exist any more so you'll have a hard time finding any replacement parts. And you won't be able to replace some of the parts with genaric stuff, it will have to be the stuff from that kit only.
5. The Turbo works funny. You hit max boost at a fairly low RPM but then it drops off.
6. The set up isn't good for your engine.
7. Anybody that I've talked to that knows anything about Turbos and Turbo set ups has told me it's a bad idea.

Now I don't have any personal experience with them so I can't guarantee any of those. But I doubt all the people I've had tell me about them (some of which have personal experience with the set up) would lie about it.
