Suck thru setup recirculation location.

I've got a suck thru setup and it's currently venting to atmosphere. I would like to reroute it into my intake. will this location in the picture work. right where the short vaccum line is plugged off? is it too close to maf? too close to turbo? too small diameter? also what diameter should it be? bov is hks sqv. will major tuning be required afterwards? THANK YOU

Easy solution is to do a blowthrough

You would need at least a 1/2 hole best to do a 3/4 hole in and out of the BOV , location looks good

Would one of these used as the coupler just after the maf work good?

I was looking for the easiest and cheapest way to do it properly. suck thru with a diverter is just as right as blow thru with blow off, right?

and doing blowthrough i would have to buy more ic piping, and I am not sure of the proper locations for the blow off and maf on a blowthough, like how far from eachother and how far from tb.

I used to think that drawthru was just fine.

It works ok when properly tuned, but to be honest I won't build another draw thru turbo setup if I can avoid it.

On my most recent project switching the maf from draw thru to blow thru solved a bunch of issues.

You would be best to ditch your current cold side piping and convert to blow thru.

I'm sure Tom can sell you the piping from the intercooler to the throttle body.

His routing is dead on the money because it keeps the piping from heat soaking with the radiator / fan wash.

Besides. The charge piping in your kit is something I regreted ever using for a turbo kit. It's just cut up pieces of a $20 dollar ebay cold air intake. I was made to do it to keep costs down but I never liked it for one second and thought it was BS.

The routing of that setup made it hard for a blow thru maf anyway which is why it wasn't recomended doing that.

You will need a retune. But it will tune easier than draw thru.
