Hello some Turbo build questions

Hello

I am new here and I realize you guys know your stuff when it comes to these engines!!
I am familliar with the old 2.3 from the SVO mustang. I have one that I have built over the years. I have just purchased another SVO and want to do something different with this one ....here is where your expertise will help

I want to install a duratec motor from a newer ranger (rwd) using a bellhousing from .....(name escapes me right now) to mate it to a T5 transmission and then go ahead and turbo charge it....creating a modern 2.3 turbo SVO.
I have some leftover parts from the last build that I can use stainless bends, SDS engine management, or Holley Commander unit, T3 turbo etc...

Here are a few questions??? What would I need to do to a Duratec to Turbo it?? Rods, pistons...etc?? Or can I keep it stock and keep the PSI low?
Would it be easier to keep the ranger harness and just use a piggyback tuner SCT? or ?
Could I use a FWD motor and adapt it to fit for rwd configuration...i.e. not transverse mounted?

Thanks For any help and input
Rob

I have a few ideas to throw out there , why not use the ranger 2.5 LEMA engine or I have a 2.6 esslinger engine I would sell , I was also HEAVY into the SVO Mustangs

To use the Dura Ranger a set of eagle rods , Forged Pistons , ARP head and main studs will get you going good

HTP sells a bellhousing to mate a T5 tranny to the duratec.

Moving you to the FI Chat.

Thanks for the replies
I have an Esslinger stroker setup in one SVO already....love it
This other SVO I have came with a T5 and no engine
I would like to do something different and also to use this as a daily driver so the newer engine will help that out. I dont want to make CRAZY power I just want to have NEW engine and keep the SVO theme 2.3 turbo.
