Supercharger

So this is an odd ball question I have this kid who is going to give me his stock supercharger from his cobalt. Will that work on the Zetec motor or not. Its a 1L supercharger. Just trying to get some info on this. Thanks ppl.

well if it a centrifical, he may be able to get the pulley made, but no way a roots unles he made a custom intake manifold and prolly other stuff

I know where you can get an brand new jackson racing supercharger with the big boost kit for your car for $1300.00 dealership on our parts locator still has one he wants to get rid of.

you could get it to work , but its gonna be way more work than you want. you may need to adjust the snout, you will need a Custom IM, which will cost a fortune unless ur a fabricator.

The Cobalt SS didn't use a 1L blower... they used the same M62 that Powerworks used in their kit for the Focus. Technically you could use the blower unit itself, but you would need all the rest of the parts from a JRSC SVT kit (modified for the Zetec head) or a Powerworks kit.

That's news to me... I was always told the 62 is .62 liters.

[edit] You're right, I just found the info on Eaton's site: the M62 pushes 1.0L air per revolution. It's the TVS blowers that use the displacement as the model number.
