Question Turbo Kit Questions!!

I was bummin around on Ebay and found a Uni Turbo Kit for a 2.0/2.3L Duratec for about $900....It comes with alot...just not the fuel system, ecu, and programming? What do you think? Would it be cheaper to make that work than the $3900 Stage 2 FSW turbo kit?? Anything will help

Ebay turbo kits will only cost you money in the long run, I just am in the process of getting a used turbo kit, everything included minus tune and injectors. Look to spend more money then you originally planned to. It may say turbo kit but there is a lot more that you will need to buy and do after, and its gonna cost money, such as a flash device, the tune and if your running larger injectors which you should, possibly a better fuel pump. At first your stock clutch will work but after a year or so you will need to up grade it to. Im no expert but thats my two cents.

My brother has a $900 turbo kit on his Del Sol. He is now over $4500 in that turbo build.

The Turbo was junk and melted... had to buy a real one.
The waste gate didn't work either.
None of the piping worked out right and had to fab a lot.
The Fuel system so had to buy one.
the programming cost him 1200 cause Honda tuners around here rape people.

Buy a real kit.

Never buy an Ebay Turbo kit. In the end you'll spend as much as if you got the FSWorks kit but none of the parts will be as good of quality and you won't make as much power. Just save up.
