Another PWorks SC question....

I'm still getting familiar with the SVT, it's been a month having the car and aside from having the clutch replaced after 2 days, the car is a blast to drive.

My question is:
What is the HP that folks with the PWorks SC are achieving? Aside from the PWSC, any other mods help?

My dyno was as 228hp at the wheels. Is 250hp possible? without stressing the engine? or is 228 about average?

Thanks

Since the SVT has forged internals, you should be able to get more out if you want. I'll let some SVT gods chime in and help out.

^^Agreed, get a custom tune, and go one size smaller on the pulley and you will make 250-260, but thats IT..stay there, make sure fuel filter is new and fuel pump is working good.

I'D say just tune it. I wouldn't run a smaller pulley on a stock bottom end. Powerworks tried a 2.67" pulley for their bbk which was like +2 psi boost and they had lots of problems. I believe the words they used were the motors developed "selective compression".

The issue with the powerworks is that the eaton makes too much heat especially when you spin it faster.

Thanks for all the info... I think I'll just leave it the way it is. I'm happy with the HP, however, was just curious if anything else could be done to get 250 without too much trouble.

Thanks!
