Unless you can weld and fab reall good, I made my whole kit myself. The only thing I splurged on was a solid tune.

But you still have to buy a turbo and other stuff for Tom's kit. ANd yes he does have a solid kit for Zetec. He has not produced a Duratec kit YET.

I have the FSwerks Kit and yes I do like it. But if the F2 kit would have been available when I got mine I prolly would have gotten that one.

The FSWerks kit is a complete kit. It has been road tested by many Focus owners without any complaints that I am aware of (the kit and service). I suspect F2's kit will be similar the main difference being the turbo unit manufacturer and tuning.

Personally, I know little about the differences between a Garrett or a Comp turbo. What I do know is the FSWerks kit is a proven, road tested, very reliable kit backed by unquestionable service from a company that is a leader in inhouse parts for the Focus and has been around for many years. As such, I am quite sure I would be happy with the FSWerks kit.

F2, word is, will have a new kit soon. With a new kit comes the build up of anticipation, and the important feedback from customers who are the first to buy and install/tune the newest kit on the market. Personally I wouldn't be the first in line to buy this kit. Not because I have anything against F2, but mainly because I want to see how it goes and get impressions from others, perhaps a comparison among a couple of Focus owners would be ideal. Dyno's are great, but a real road driver comparison would be perfect.

Whether or not you want and be the first in line to buy the newest kit or the buyer of a proven kit is up to you. I've read some of the hype on this board, some from very experienced members who are looking forward to the new F2 kit, which hasn't even been officially released (F2 pulled the original kit off the market to make some changes, why I'm not sure, but I do hear they will be using a Comp turbo). I understand the hype, as the same thing happened when FSWerks was first releasing their kit. At that time there was no competition and the only option to a fully custom setup. Now that there apparently will be competiton, this can only be good for all duratec owners and the market as a whole.
