Turbo Pictures Posted, Need Answers

I have uploaded pictures of 2 turbos. First is my IHI RHB52 from a T-Bird. I used this turbo for roughly 500mi. I know the compressor is way too small and wanted to see how it is holding up. As you can see from the pictures it looks like my compressor is burnt on the tips. It wasn't like that before. There isn't ANY play at all on the shaft. None what so ever. You can also see a knick on my Turbine wheel. I dont know if that was there before but seems fine. The compressor house doesn't show any signs of impact from the wheel nor does the wheel itself. The turbine wheel does have the knick on the edge of the turbine and a little rub mark on the inside. The Turbine outlet Port has some interesting black marks on it...

Garrett T3

Here on this post is my replacement Garrett T3 that I was going to use before I found a crack on the Internal Wastegate Port hole. Any clue if it is safe to run this exhaust housing? I am trying to be patient and hold off till I can get a new housing but my IHI might not be so supportive. Also, any clue where I can get another housing... prefferably new? I see alot of housings that are made by Turbonetics... Will this fit?

As it heats up and cools down that puts stress on the crack. Thats like bending steel back and forth till it snaps.

Id fix it, or not use it.

Thet is a heat stress crack , some one at some time got it a little to the hot side and it cracked where it is the thinnest , I would tell you its ok to run if it wasent , I ran one likt that about 12 years on a SVO and have seen dozens of them crack there , it is very common and if your going external your fine

Tom, I am stcking w/ internal for now. JGS manifold doesnt have an external WG port welded in. So I should be ok to run it. I dont run the crap out of my car so I am guessing its ok

StarFuryT500 There was oil in it from my last IHI that I had installed. It blew up cause of a bent shaft. I tried to clean it out as best as I could. I haven't seen any additional oil in the piping since.
