High Flow Fuel Pump Questions

Lookin Into Pickin Up A High Flow Fuel Pump... Its A Motorcraft Part, Supposedly A 255lph, Pt# is PFS 204, and under that says 3S4Z-9H307-BC... Does This Sound Correct, And Should It Fit An 02 SVTf Without Any Major Issues Or Will I Have To Modify The Harness Or Strainer Or Anything?

Any Info Appreciated!!

aight thnx!!... i thought it was the stock 04 SVT pump but wasnt sure... not quite 255 but still more than what the 02 puts out... got it at a deal and figd id try it to support my nitrous kit.... its been runnin out of fuel and ate a set of plugs. got lucky i heard it spittin and got out of it! gonna add that and got a 1 size up fuel pill for it... so it shouldnt lean out and still have enough flow to support the injectors as well.

No that pump isnt a 255 altho they claim it to be , you will still have the same issues with leaning out even with the new pump , your probelm is you need a tune to tell the pump to put out more fuel , if you go to a larger pump and even if it does flow more the ECU will correct the fueling back to stock , you need many things turned off and more turned on and some just taken up and timing down

Burning the tip of a plug could be as much timing as fuel causing it

so its not just an issue wit the lesser flowin pump bein unable to support both the injectors and the nitrous kit?... hmm...

With out seeing a log and in my opinion I would say no , I have many 280HP SVT stock pumps doing safe fuel psi with 60lb injectors

I can do you a Nitrous tune and email it , you would need a wide band o2 to get the NA tune safe then we can work on the Nitrous tune

I Charge 250.00 for the nitrous tune and that also if you want it comes with the NA tune and free updates
