JRSC need help...

Alright guys just picked one up at a FREAKIN STEAL! like UNBELIEVEABLE!

My question is besides clutch/LSD/J&S what other things will i need?

The kit is coming wit bbk, install manuel, everything i need...

Also what are the best ways to run it?

What intake?

I have a Stock Flex, 2.5in ORP, an 2.5in Borla, would a upgrade to a 3in. be too much?

Help boost noob in need of HELP!

I need help pointed in the best direction to help me produce the best power outta my car an my newly aquiried TOY :)

I also have the FC lightweight pullies? Will these help? Or not?

Do i get the Overdrive Crank pulley from CFM?

02 SVT 85k, how much will the motor handle w/o a cooling system on the s/cer?

jrsc you will be luck to get 220whp, no way of intercooling the setup.

if they are ust light weight pulleys then they are fine, if they are underdriven you need to loose them as you will have less boost.

i would overdrive the jrsc.
clutch should be fine for awhile, i mean if you have the money buy the clutch and flywheel and LSD, do both at the same time because if not the tranny has to come out twice.

ud think the same if i told you how much i got my procharger setup with all the gauges, and brand new xcal 2 :)

i paid practically nothing, especially with selling the xcal right after i got it.

Being that you already have the BBK I would not put the CFM over drive Crank on it. With a good tune I don’t really see why you would need a J&S. Are you using the Ford tune or having it tuned? I have probably 80K on mine with a 3” (same thing as the BBK) and have never needed a J&S.

A stock Clutch will be fine (long as your not Drag racing it all the time ) again I have a lot of mine on mine and the clutch is still good.

also i really dont think the jrsc is aggressive enough to really need a J&S.
i mean if you drive like a maniac and hit red line about 10 times on a one way trip something sooner or later will go.

I was told from William at CFM, that the procharger is gonna put out about 250-275 if done correctly. I was looking into this as I plan on building a crazy motor. He also said (but has not witnessed to) a fully built motor, pistons, rods etc. That the procharger could put out 350-375 WHP.

I have heard of the JRSC putting down 250 to the wheels. I dont know what all that involved but I have seen it. I think cliff (svtcliff) was putting some where around that range. I could be wrong. maybe 225 but he was stock motor. Other than BBK and whatnot
