how much HP

I know this is not the best thing to post but Im going to do it anyways. I looked threw some of the threads and didnt quite find my answer. My first question is does anyone know the exact gains in HP and TQ that I would gain from a procharger, I dont want to go turbo because its my daily driver and I dont want to blow anything. My second question is what a friend of mine has been asking me, I dont think its posible but for some reason he thinks it is, he wants to know if its posible to fit a powerstroke engine in the svt focus. Please dontme for asking this question I just told him I would ask,(and if your looking at this turbotom I think that you would know if it is posible or not).

You can fit a supercharged 4.6L in there with a lot of shoehorning (and getting rid of power steering and a/c). A Powerstroke, though? I dunno...

if Tim can fit a vortec with a 76mm turbo in his Focus, you can definitely fit a powerstroke, especially a 6.0 or the 4.5 v6.

Boost is boost as far as a power adder goes. It's all in the tune. Especially if the turbo is intercooled, it's much safer per lb of boost vs. the blower(granted the blower can be intercooled as well). Turbo is much more efficient also. It doesn't take power to make power.

Just wondering why you would want to put a powerstroke in there in the first place? Out of all the engines, you choose that one? It's not even a performance engine really... Anyways, as others said, I don't know why you think turboing will blow your engine vs. supercharger being more "kind" to your engine or something. Boost is boost.

And to answer the question no one else answered, I believe you put down ~230whp @ 8 psi or ~250whp @ 10 psi with the ProCharger.

My friend went with a procharger made 310whp with 15psi. It drive for a week then engine went, lost compression in 3rd cylinder. Then after that called Tom for a built motor and Turbo. Thats what he should of done from the start, I'm now sadly realizing that!

a powerstroke in a focus would haul ass... especially if you got it tuned, and upped the boost. diesel is so underrated.
