Boost Options?

I was looking to sell my car, but with no one giving me any offers, Im thinking im going to keep it and boost it...

What are my boost options for the SVT? I have noticed lots of kits for the Duratec's but not much for the SVTF

Does anyone still sell the JSRC new?

what are my other optios as far as superchargers go?

I noticed a Procharger kit on c-f-m.com....any thought on this?

thanks for your guidance
-Pete

Procharger has issues with blowing seals or seizing up?....Can't remember, but whatever it is, it will need a rebuild.

JRSC's can only be had used.

If you can find one used, Powerworks supercharger, same as the JRSC, but with an aftercooler!

If I had a choice, turbo. And they are all DIY

I was thinking more along the lines of a supercharger cause I wanted good reliable power....Also I would like to get a kit of some sort....so i dont have to mess around with all of the charge pipeing....if someone made a good reliable turbo kit for the SVT I would consider it.

Power from a turbo is definitely reliable.

Just like the belt WILL turn the supercharger, the exhaust gasses WILL turn the turbo.

I don't know why people think the turbo is there sometimes and not other times.

Turbos done correctly are just as reliable as SC even tho the gains in TQ are much higher

I have a DIY kit that comes with
Turbo Manifold
Down pipe
piping from Turbo to IC
IC to throttle body
Large IC (Intercooler)
For 1495.00

I also sell the turbo , oil pan with bung , MAF tube , then you get the rest of the pieces and it helps save with the cost of the kit and you get to choose colors and type of parts , I give a detailed list and help if you have questions locating products or not sure what to get

It sounds harder then it is

Tom

^^^QFT^^^

I hate being a jerk to FI newbies but I'm with bmylez. I'd say about half of the threads here are about "SC vs. Turbo" and the "JRSC or PWSC" and it would save a lot of time if people just read a sticky or two.
