you'd be better off piecing together your own kit my friend. as mlbbasball said "you get what you pay for." Boosting a car is not something you can cheap out on, it will come back to get you in the end.

I'm more for turbos on a 4 cylinder set up although you can get the supercharger for your car.

Check the buy/sell forum also!

lol. a buddy of mine has a 1.6 single cam honda and got on of those cheap $1000 turbo kits and he did his own tuning. (basicly lots of fuel and change in timing) on 20psi and that car ran strong for over a year. he dynod somewhere around 400. then he threw a gt35r on the ebay kit and poped the motor next day. now its built but he still has the ebay kit just with a garrett turbo.

Well John (Orange03SVT) ran an eBay turbo for a while and he said he made good power. It's *possible* to luck out and get a good cheap turbo but sometimes they are crap. I wouldn't trust an eBay wastegate, though.

Yea i heard he did to but overall i havnt really heard any good from them. And the honda kits seem to be more of an actuall kit for their cars because they have more manufactures and almost make them to fit the car. Unlike ours...

If you do wanna SC look in the B/S threads. There seems to always be SC's popping up.

Also there is a lot of good info on here as far as FI is concerned. I would suggest reading the sticky thread in the top on the FI forum.

like mlb said its what you consider to be cheap.... many reputiable companies put there stuff on ebay.. i have LOTS of ebay stuff on my car and it is GREAT!!! my turbo kit was not one of them.. but many of my parts when i pieced my kit together came from there.. you just have to know what to look for and make sure the company is a good company for what you looking for.. do your homework.. but keep in mind... take it from someone that has spent WWWAAAAYYYYY more than he should have because he tried to go cheap... and ended up just doin it the expensive route in the long run and now finally happy... just save up the money and do it right the first time.. youll be happier and get it done sooner with less problems...
