Oil line question

I was having trouble with clearence issues doing the oil port under my coil and noticed another oil port right about the radiator block near the front of the block, is there anything wrong with using this one? I installed my line all ready but just wanted to make sure i wouldn't be starving anything

I used the one next to the coil pack. IDK about the one on the front of the block. You can use spacers to raise the coil pack in the air a little bit so the oil line goes underneath the coil pack. This worked great for me. Got the idea from Focusaddictions build thread but if you want pics lmk.

So no one knows if the oil port at the front of the block is safe to use? It's directly above the coolant block

I would take the plug out and hook up a feed line and see if oil comes out when you crank it and it a good amount of pressur comes out then you"ll be fine but I used the spot underneath the coilpack since I know for sure that it gets good oil pressure.

Under the coil pack could starve the Cams.

Use one by oil filter, or remove the stud by the starter.

Pretty sure this has been brougt up before. I think John (Orange03) has used the spot by the coilpack and had no problems. Maybe I'm mistaken. Can you verify this, John?
