Maybe n2o?

So i'm starting to look for some good power without having to sell my soul to afford it.

I was thinking n20... I have 108k miles on my SVT, it still runs very good, very strong.

IF... I were to get nitrous what would the totall cost come to? I know this depends on brand how big of a bottle etc. But anyways.

Also what would be a safe boost amount. 50-75?

You can find a wet kit through CFM or Summit Racing for around 550 to 600 bucks depending on the brand with a 10lbs bottle. I have used NX and NOS both are very good kits in my opinion. As a minimum you will need:

N2O PSI guage 70 bucks
Motorcraft AZFS22c plugs 12 bucks

you should be fine without a tune on a 50 shot, a good intake and exhaust are a plus. I have been shooting 75 for over 2 years now without a tune without issues, but others will tell you to get a tune to be on the safe side. Your choice. This will add

SCT/ Predator 400 bucks
N2O tune 100/150 bucks

Very good things to have are:

Digital RPM window switch 145 bucks
Fuel PSI Guage 60 bucks
O2 Wide Band 250 bucks
Bottle warmer 150 bucks

So with around 1600-1700 bucks you can be an @$$ kicker ..

Hope this helps you out. Prices are just average numbers not actual prices.

agreed. me and a friend just installed the nitrous express sub compact kit from summit racing and am very happy with it... so far i only have the n20 pressure guage and bottle warmer, spark plugs, could not be more happy. best bang for your buck period.

So are all these kits activated by a wot switch and a window switch or what. I want to add a kit but have DBW throttle so no linkage to close my switch.

N20 is almosty just as expensive as FI.

You might as well save the Extra 1k and go with Turbo or SC. I'd recomend Turbo.

After a few bottle Refills on the n20 you could have pieced an FI kit together
