thinking of buying this turbo

my buddy just upgraded is DSM Talon TSI turbo, so i would be buying his stock one for 120. would this be a good deal/work on an SVT?

Any turbo would work, as long as it's what power goals you're wanting to hit. From what I hear a 16g would be a better option, but it would work. Seems like a fair price as long as it works.

go for it. just make sure it was running good when it was on the car and there is minimal shaft play. it would suck to buy and install it only to watch it spew oil everywhere and cause your car to smoke.

I'm running a 14b that I got for $50. I say hold out for a better deal if that's the turbo you're going to use. Try DSMTrader or Homemadeturbo.com's for sale section for better deals.

120 is high for a used turbo.
If you go that route start really cheap and rebuild it, or just buy new.
