Newbie to FI here... Few questions..

Of course I will want to upgrade my rods and pistons before throwing on a turbo just to be on the safe side. Do you have to remove the engine from the car to replace rods and pistons, or can you get to them just fine without removing the engine?

I always wondered if it were possible just by dropping the oil pan and the removing the head.

uh i wouldnt do it that way...but we have a fairly small engine i suppose its possible

it would probably be easier just to remove the motor and do it.
remember that building a car shouldn’t come from parts it should come from deep inside your soul. let the car speak for all the emotions, memories and experiences youve made and the car will take a life of its own. truth over fame.

In case you didn't know, focusguy87 is selling a set of pistons and rods off of an SVT. Should be strong enough for all but the biggest turbo applications.
check out my Fiesta Movement entry:
I wholeheartedly endorse McNew's for installing and tuning your Focus.
