Powerworks kit -- roaring sounds I hear

I have a 'stock' PWSC setup on my car. I am pretty used to the whine (and I love it), but I also heard a couple of times this sound:
- wuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh for 5-10 s. Very steady. Sounds like it's from the engine bay.
It's about the same pitch as when the whine first comes on from the blower.
In both cases, I had gotten up to 3-4k, and had backed off just a bit on the throttle, to hold speed.

I asked Ray, and he said it could be the sound of blow off bypass happening? It makes sense when considering how I was driving at the time.

Anyone know what this is? And if it's normal? I will try to track down a clip of it.

How often does it happen to you? Do you tend to drive in such away as to avoid it?

The scenario definitely makes sense -- you got the RPM up and the blower is all ready to feed air to match anticipated power, and then you let off. So the fuel is dialed back and now you have all this air -- better blow it off.

I guess, coming from a turbo car, I just expected any blow off to sound high-pitched or hissy.

If i'm sitting still when I turn the wheel alittle I hear it. The only time i heard it like you said was after it blew my green filter off, when you pop the hood it looks like the filter is on but its not clamped down. Might not be in your case, but thats the only time I heard something like wuuhhhhhhhhhhh.
