there actually isnt enough room behind the front radiator support, basically to get it to fit, the fans would have to be removed and then you might have enough room...

F2 is supposedly in R&D with a rotex based supercharger, its about the size of an A/C compressor, and you guess it... you loose your A/C if you go with the rotex supercharger because it takes its spot on the block.

honestly to get a super charger at about 220whp i would give up my a/c.

but they have been researching and working on it for a good while now. theres a 20+page thread over on FJ about it, and ricardo dips in there every so often...

and supposedly, they are testing the rotex kits on a couple of mazda 3's and the 2.3L fusion, but ricardo is saying that the space available in the focus is pretty limited.

Closest thing is that one Cossie is making for the Miata, which is close to a duratec motor... I wouldnt read too far into it though, itll never make it to the focus world =/

Props to companies that do the grunt work in fielding a kit, but how much steam is there in the aftermarket? I don't know off hand how many 2.3 Duratec (which is the MZR engine) Foci got made, but I wonder how many of those owners are still looking for a SC kit, and would rather wait for that than getting an available turbo kit.

I wholeheartedly endorse McNew's for installing and tuning your Focus.
